We Were Only Young by Kodaline MP3 Download
Kodaline returns with We Were Only Young, a reflective song about looking back on a relationship and realising the value of a moment only after it has passed. The track was released on April 15, 2026.
Growing older can change the way people see their past. Sometimes, a relationship or special period feels ordinary while it is happening, only to become more meaningful with time. That is the feeling behind the song, which looks at memories, regret and the difficulty of accepting that someone has moved on.
The track is a reflective piano ballad with vocal harmonies and orchestration. Steve Garrigan handles the lead vocals, while Mads Christensen worked with him as producer and co-writer. The song runs for 3 minutes and 20 seconds.
For anyone who has ever looked back at an old relationship and wondered what could have been different, this Kodaline release offers plenty to think about. It keeps the story personal while leaving room for listeners to connect it with memories of their own.
Listen and Enjoy!
