hate 2 hate u by Gabriela Bee Ft. Carly Paige and Evan Cline MP3 Download
Canadian pop singer-songwriter Gabriela Bee, , explores the difficult side of romance on hate 2 hate u, using a reflective collaboration to deal with hurt, frustration and unresolved feelings.
hate 2 hate u works through a moody pop arrangement built around gentle percussion, atmospheric layers and a melodic foundation that leaves plenty of space for the vocals. Gabriela Bee’s delivery carries the emotional centre, while Carly Paige and Evan Cline add contrasting voices that give the record more dimension. The lyrics focus on the strange point where love and resentment can exist at the same time.
The track is part of Gabriela Bee’s 2026 release run and appears within the five-song just us EP, released through DOOGOOD. It also reflects the more emotionally exposed side of her recent material, following songs such as 17 and your time while continuing her move toward more personal pop songwriting.
The different vocal colours give the collaboration its strongest musical detail. Rather than making every section sound identical, the arrangement allows the performers to occupy different emotional spaces, making the changes in perspective more noticeable as the song develops.
With its restrained production, layered vocals and complicated emotional subject matter, the record captures the uncomfortable space between caring about someone and wishing the feelings were easier to leave behind.
