Eze by Somval MP3 Download
Nigerian Highlife and Afrosounds singer Somval returns with Eze, an Igbo-rooted praise song that celebrates God’s greatness, kingship and the goodness found in everyday life.
The song centres on the simple recognition of God as King. In everyday life, that message speaks to moments when people look back at what they have survived and choose gratitude instead of taking their progress for granted. The Igbo word “Eze” means “King”, giving the record a clear cultural and spiritual direction. Musically, Somval works with a Highlife-based sound supported by modern Afrosounds elements. Traditional textures help maintain the Eastern Nigerian identity, while his vocal delivery keeps the praise message easy to follow. The production was handled by Fabtunez, who gives the record a warm arrangement that supports the worship theme without making it overly complicated.
Released on August 31, 2026, the single adds to Somval’s busy run of releases during the year. His catalogue includes projects such as GRASS TO GRACE and earlier songs including “Ikenna BadMeat Mbem”, “Come and See” and “Kene Olisa”. Audiomack identifies Somval as Somtochukwu Valentine from Nteje, Anambra State, Nigeria, and lists his main genre as Afrosounds.
This record should connect with listeners who enjoy Nigerian music that keeps its cultural roots close while using a contemporary sound. Its message of praise and gratitude also makes it suitable for personal reflection, family listening and worship moments.
