Cocoon EP by Yeat MP3 Download
Yeat explores a darker, futuristic trap direction across Cocoon, using distorted textures, heavy bass and his heavily processed vocal style to shape a project built around atmosphere and intensity.
Cocoon moves through booming 808s, rattling percussion, synthetic melodies and spacious production that gives each track room to hit. Yeat’s vocals shift between clipped phrases, melodic Auto-Tuned passages and layered effects, creating a hazy sound that keeps the EP cohesive.
The project continues Yeat’s focus on flexing, nightlife, relationships and the excesses surrounding his lifestyle, while the production leans heavily into the futuristic aesthetic associated with his catalogue. The EP format allows the individual songs to maintain their own energy while sharing a consistent sonic palette.
One of the defining details is the contrast between the dense low end and the spacious upper layers. That combination lets the bass and drums feel physical while the vocals and synths occupy a more distorted, floating space.
As a short trap project, the EP keeps its identity centred on heavy production, experimental vocal effects and Yeat’s distinctive approach to melody and rhythm.
